Boston Scientific Receives CE Mark for its ACURATE Prime Aortic Valve System

- Boston Scientific has received CE mark approval for the ACURATE Prime Aortic Valve System (transcatheter aortic valve replacement technology) and will launch it across the EU in coming weeks
- The ACURATE Prime valve system is developed to re-establish function & normal blood flow through a narrowed aortic valve among low, intermediate and high-risk severe aortic stenosis patients
- The system is intended for treating aortic annulus diameters ranging, 20.5 & 29 mm, maintaining design features from the ACURATE neo2 platform such as low pacemaker and leak rates, strong hemodynamic performance & unrestricted coronary access
